Ngaio Childcare Centre is licensed by the Ministry of Education and receives bulk-funding, but the centre also requires fees to help maintain equipment and cover administration costs. For information regarding terms and conditions for payment of fees please refer to the Fees policy. We offer the 20 Hours Early Childhood Education (ECE) scheme for three and four year old children. Normal fees apply to three and four year old children who do not attest their 20 hours ECE to us. We encourage parents of children who are receiving 20 Hours ECE funding to make a donation to cover the shortfalls in funding.
The centre prefers that children are enrolled for 2-3 days per week, however it is possible to enroll for only 1 or up to 5 sessions per week. Enrolled children may have access to additional casual sessions if places are available, please contact the centre.
Fees | 16 months to 3 years old | $42.50 a session |
Donation | 3 to 5 years old | $22.50 a session |
Admin Levy | $40 a term |
As a part of your commitment to the non-profit community centre, parents or members of whānau will be encouraged to take part in some fundraising activities and participate in the occasional parent help.
Invoices will be emailed once a month. Fees are to be paid two weeks after the invoice is issued. Information on how to pay your account is on your invoice. A receipt will be issued to parents upon receiving cash/cheque payment and at the end of each term. Please note that donations are tax deductible and Work and Income NZ subsidies are available for families on low incomes. Four weeks paid termination notice is required.
Please Note: Our centre closed for approximately 5 weeks of the summer holidays.
