Kia ora, ko Hannah toku ingoa
I started working as a teacher at Ngaio Childcare Centre
at the beginning of 2024 but my whānau have been part
of the creche community since 2017 when two of my
children had a wonderful time here.
I am originally from the UK and I grew up between London,
Wellington and the south of France. I worked as a registered
nurse for 10 years before taking a break to look after our
four children - Alex, Chloe, Evie and Kate.
I completed my degree in Early Childhood Education at
Victoria University of Wellington in 2023 and was so happy
to join the teaching team at Ngaio creche.
The small centre is a great place for young tamariki to have
their first experiences of Early Childhood Education and I
really value being able to spend one to one time with
each child, to build relationships with them and watch
them learn and develop.
I am looking forward to working with the very experienced
and supportive teachers here.
